Every day, one of the two former participants in the largest cycling spectacle in the world looks ahead to the day to come. Today Breukink, who himself finished third in the 1990 Tour, sheds light on the tenth stage.

Breukink expects a similar scenario on Friday. ,,You often see this in stages in the second half of the Tour. sport">Breukink thinks that the wind may still cause danger in the battle between the classification riders. “It can go ‘on the side’. I don’t expect the classification teams myself, however. Ineos gave it a try on Thursday. It is also better to start yourself, otherwise it will be too late if fans develop.”
