Danish cyclist Magnus Cort Nielsen triumphed in the 10th stage of the 109th edition of the Tour de France. The rider of the EF Education stable prevailed in the final climb and managed the 148.1 km route from Morzine to Megeve in 3:18:50 hours.

Slovakian Peter Sagan (TotalEnergies) finished in 129th place with a deficit of 26:22 min. Slovenian Tadej Pogačar (SAE Team Emirates) kept the yellow jersey.
“I expected to do worse from the start after the day off, but it went pretty well. The hills were fast and the leak left after sixty kilometers, the start was fast,” stated Sagan in an interview for RTVS.
On Wednesday, the demanding 11th stage from Albertville to the Col de Granon, 151.7 km long, is on the program. Three alpine climbs await the peloton on the Col du Telegraphe (cat. 1, 11.9 km, 7.0%), the famous Col du Galibier (HC, 17.6 km, 6.8%) and to the finish in Serre Chevalier (HC, 11.4 km, 9.1%).
