Tour boat capsizes in upstate New York, leaving one dead and a dozen injured.

A tour boat carrying 28 tourists and a guide capsized in upstate New York on Monday, killing one and injuring a dozen, media reported.

The boat lost its balance before capsizing near Lockport Cave in Lockport, throwing all passengers overboard.

A man in his 60s, who was trapped under the boat, died as a result of the crash, Lockport Fire Chief Luca Quagliano confirmed.

About 16 people were rescued by emergency teams and around 10 people with minor injuries were taken to local hospitals, Quagliano added.
