It’s always impressive and it’s also good when it ends without too much damage.
Monday June 21, 2021, first day of summer, the Toulouse region was crossed by a series of thunderstorms as announced by Météo France.
Unlike the thunderstorms on Thursday, June 17, these thunderstorm cells did not cause damage in Haute-Garonne.
A huge cloud
On the other hand, those who raised their heads to the sky could not miss the stormy supercell which deployed from the southwest to the northeast of Toulouse.
Supercell which offered a striking spectacle, without however, and fortunately, causing great damage.
From Plaisance-du-Touch to Verfeil, via Toulouse, the huge cloud has been widely photographed. Images.
Very nice supercell
Toulouse becomes Arcus-sur-Garonne
By raising their heads, the people of Toulouse and the inhabitants of the agglomeration were able to observe an arcus (arc in Latin, editor’s note), this low cloud with a threatening aspect which spreads out, in front of the precipitation line, over several kilometers.
