The services of the town hall of Toulouse announce the closure of the Japanese Garden, in the city center, due to repair work on its paths.
The strollers of downtown Toulouse will no longer be able to go to the Japanese Garden, located in the Compans Caffarelli district, for a month. The services of the town hall announced its closure, this Monday, November 8, “due to repair work on its alleys”. It is about finalizing a project which had already led to the closure of the garden, created on the initiative of the former mayor of Toulouse Pierre Baudis, until last October 16.
A second phase of work
The duration of this new phase of work is “estimated at one month subject to favorable weather conditions. A reopening is therefore possible from the beginning of December 2021 ”, further indicates Toulouse town hall. While waiting for the next reopening, “and for a taste of the return of the sunny days”, the Toulouse.fr site offers strollers a summer stroll in this haven of peace labeled “remarkable garden”.
