Toulouse: the 15th edition of the MAP photography festival is approaching

Still a little patience. In about a month, MAP Toulouse photography festival he returns to the landscape of the A pink city for a 15th edition. As September 12 to 29, 2024photophiles will have the opportunity to rediscover the work of artists through an optional program.

Historic district full of investment

It is at the heart of the Saint-Cyprien area that the a festival will be in full swing. Almost fifteen of the most iconic buildings on the left bank will be taken over by over 4,000 photos from the work of 170 photographers. From the Dôme de la Grave to the abattoirs via the​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Quai de la Daurade, visitors will have the opportunity to walk between the different exhibits available.

This year, the main piece of the festival will be a an exhibition dedicated to the work of Robert Doisneau, a renowned French photographer, on the 30th anniversary of his death. Exhibitions, shows and even meetings will complete the festival. Finally, this event is aimed at 100% free to promote the art of photography and make it accessible to all audiences.
