A historic final from every point of view. This Saturday, Toulouse raised their first Coupe de France for 66 years and a coronation in 1957. The Toulousains brought the way to this triumph by crushing the Nantes 5-1. A success that will also go down in history, since it is the first time that a team has fielded a 100% foreign eleven in the final of the competition.
In total, eight different nationalities made up the eleven of Téfécé this Saturday. And the one that mainly dominates with three players is the Dutch nationality (Branco Van den Boomen, Thijs Dallinga and Stijn Spierings). We also have two Danes (Rasmus Nicolaisen and Mikkel Desler). A recipe that works perfectly, since it has allowed the TFC to move up to Ligue 1 this year and to triumph in the Coupe de France.
