“Toulouse Braces for Gusts of Wind Reaching 70-80 km/h in Haute Garonne”

According to Météo France forecasts, strong gusts of wind are expected in Upper Garonne and to Toulouse from 18h. THE department, like 10 others, is on yellow alert from this Thursday, March 16, 6 p.m. until Friday, March 17, 9 p.m. These gusts could reach 70 to 80 km/h this Thursday evening and into the night.

As a reminder, during the last gust of wind on Monday March 13gusts had been recorded at more than 90 km/h in Toulouse. The firefighters had intervened on several occasions and in particular for the fall of pieces of chimney in the center of Toulouse.
