Toulonforever is getting into the Olympic era. The photo contest, which has become an unmissable event for users of the social network Instagram, lovers of Toulon and fans of beautiful photos, returns every year from May 1 to 31. For this 8th edition, the categories have been updated, to keep as close as possible to the sports news of this day of May 10, 2024:

- Toulon’s sporting heritage
- Water sports
- Sports in black and white
- Sports are seen differently
- May 10, 2024: Toulon, stage capital for the Paris 2024 Olympic torch relay
The participants of the city must be immortalized on the theme “Toulon, stage city of the Paris 2024 Olympic Torch Relay”. They will be able to publish up to 3 photos in each category on their Instagram account (public) by tagging the page @toulonforever2024_ and mentioning the category they are competing in in a hashtag or description .
Each of these categories will be awarded and “Jury’s Favorite” and “Instagram Award” must be added. The first one will award the picture most appreciated by the jury and the second one, the one that received the most “Likes”. They are therefore giving two participants an additional chance to win one of the many prizes offered by the city’s 35 partners.
As every year, toulonforever2024 will close with a presentation of all the photos posted respecting the rules of participation. Open to the public, it will be held from July 17 to September 8, 2024, in the Town Hall. Extended range of dates to meet the enthusiasm of Toulon residents and tourists. The various awards will be presented at the opening on 17 July.
