Two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were arrested and then placed in police custody for hitting and then robbing a man last Wednesday near the Guynemer housing estate in Toulon, BFM Toulon Var learned from a police source.
1000 euros stolen
After seeing an ad for the sale of a scooter on an online ad site, the victim goes to the meeting point. As he waits for buyers, with 1,000 euros in cash in his possession, two individuals aged 16 and 17 approach him.
The man is held up with a revolver by his attackers who ask him for his bag. The victim tries to flee but the two teenagers hit him with the butt of the revolver then escape with the satchel.
The victim has bleeding wounds. The police are warned by witnesses, one of whom gives the identity of one of the attackers whom he formally recognizes. A few minutes later, the police come to the home of the identified teenager. At his home, the police discover the revolver while the victim’s bag is found empty in the stairwell.
The investigations of the departmental security made it possible to identify the second individual who was arrested the day after the facts. Placed in police custody, the two teenagers, both known to the police, recognize the facts.
Referred last Friday to the juvenile court, one was placed under a detention order in a closed center, the second was placed under judicial supervision.
