Toulon: three people try to burglarize an apartment, one of them hits a police officer

Two people were arrested after they forced the door of an apartment on the Cité de la Grande Pleine, in Toulon. During the arrest, one of the suspects violently assaulted a police officer.

Three people knocked on the door of an apartment in the Cité de la Grande Pleine, in Toulon, at the end of last week. Two of them were arrested and finally arrested, according to a police source at BFM Toulon Var. One of the suspects even headbutted a police officer.

Attempt to escape through the balcony

On the day of the incident, the Toulon police were called by witnesses after several people forced the door of a home in the city of Grande Plaine.

Quickly on the scene, the police intervened but the burglars fled and tried to leave the building through the balcony. Of the three fugitives, two were arrested by the police. When they were arrested, one of them rebels and brutally beats a police officer.

Both suspects will eventually be arrested and then forwarded. During the search, police found a knife and cannabis resin.
