This Monday around noon, a surveillance and intervention squad from the gendarmerie (Psig) of Paray-le-Monial, as well as the Gueugnon brigade, intervened on rue de Chalon. It was following a death threat to his daughter, that a 55-year-old man from Toulon for a few months, was arrested at his home.
“We have been alerted to repeated death threats. It was worrying and we intervened quickly and in large numbers to secure the intervention,” explains Captain Coquelet, assistant to the Charolles company commander.
If a notion of weapon was present at the start, the soldiers found nothing at the defendant’s home.
The man was taken into custody and transferred to the Montceau-les-Mines hospital center.
We noted on the spot the presence of the mayor Bernard Labrosse as well as his deputy Jean Naulin.
