Since June 2021, Pauline Chantereau, 28, has been an administrative assistant at NGE.
To take this job, she joined the joint system Pôle Emploi – RCT aimed at women under 25, which allowed her to work for a subsidiary of ENEDIS as part of the LINKY mission.
HEALTHY WORK
Before living in the Var, Pauline lived in Louhans, a small town located near Chalon-sur-Saône, in Saône et Loire (Burgundy).
“My professional project and my studies in the field of sales led me to Toulon in 2015. Ironically, I unknowingly settled near the construction site of the A57, which today is very practical to get to my work. But nothing stopped him from working in construction.” said the young woman.
She owes her meeting with NGE, her future employer to Sophie Lethuin-Farge, communications manager at the A57 Operations Department in Toulon and Montpellier, who recommended Pauline’s application and was able, thanks to the this intervention, to be employed, despite his lack of knowledge. And here she is, employed until the end of the project!
This change of direction was particularly successful for him.
“I really like my job. My role is to manage staff, to work with the temp agencies with whom I am in regular contact when we need them. I also take care of preparing pay slips and listening to our 250 employees to solve small daily problems. This applies just as much to questions about mutual insurance, scorecards, applications for investments or employment contracts,” description of the young woman.
In fact, jobs suffer a certain turn, which makes Pauline look for others from temp groups. Workers come from the whole region, mainly from Var but also from nearby regions.
“My contract with NGE runs until 2025. That being said, I think I won’t continue my collaboration because I have to make big trips around France and that’s not fits my personal life, here in Toulon, because I have a 6 year old child and my partner works in the Var. After that, I would like to stay in the public works sector, especially in personnel management. Thanks to NGE, I have been given a great business card to talk to companies in the sector and I will probably start my studies again to get a diploma in human relations,” concludes Pauline, with a big smile.
