Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt (42) has become a stepmother.

“Party of five” star and actor Brian Hallisay announced the birth of his third child, son Aidan James Hallisay, on Instagram on Thursday.
The couple married in November 2013, are also parents to daughter Autumn James (7 1/2) and son Atticus James (6).
Jennifer Love Hewitt shared the news by posting a black-and-white photo of her heavily pregnant belly with a signed face. The lyrics “It’s A Boy”, “Almost Cooked” and “9 Months” left no doubt about what was going on.

For Norwegians, the new mother of three is best known from the TV series “Party of Five” (1995-1999) and “Ghost Whisperer” (2005-2010), as well as from “9-1-1” which she has appeared in since 2018.
On the film front, she made a name for herself in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” (1997) and the sequel the following year.
In terms of role and image, she has been placed in the classic “neighbor girl” category, which the Americans call “girl next door”. She has appeared on a large number of magazine covers and ended up on the list of the world’s most beautiful and sexiest women.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, Hewitt dated a number of high-profile men; as host Carson Daly, actor Patrick Wilson, artist John Mayer and actor Jamie Kennedy.
In 2007, she became engaged to “The Ghost Whisperer” colleague Ross McCall, but the two ended their relationship at the end of 2008.
Her current husband met Hewitt during the filming of “The Client List”.
– Beautiful and surprising experience
Texas-born Hewitt is also a singer and has released several solo albums. The debut album “Love Song” was released in Japan when she was 12 years old. Her most popular single was the song “How Do I Deal” which reached number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
When she announced her pregnancy in May, Hewitt stated that she had always been open to having a third child, but did not think it would strike during the pandemic.
– I feel that we have raised two really special children who will be great role models. It has been a nice, beautiful and surprising experience in a time like this to be able to do everything again with a small person.
Hewitt has also stated that the role of mother has changed her and given a “deeper perspective” on life. When she became a mother for the first time in 2014, she stopped thinking of her own weight as a problem.
– I have been someone who has had to think about what my body looks like for 25 years. It was heavy when I did not lose weight. I started wondering what was wrong with me, she told People Magazine about the weight gain during pregnancy.
The thought that her daughter Autumn James would have to think about her own weight made her change her thinking.
Before arriving at her lastborn, Hewitt confided that she thinks name choice is the most difficult.
– For me, naming a child is tougher than birth. The name is the children become. It’s their person. It’s very scary, she told People Magazine in May.
Snack dependent and steady husband
The actress expresses gratitude that she was allowed to have her husband present in the delivery room during the birth.
– During the birth he is solid as a mountain, she says about Hallisay.
– You will never know if he is panicking, anxious or stressed or something – he is really incredibly good. The only thing about him and the birth that really makes me laugh is that he eats lots of snacks. In my maternity bag, there is usually an outfit for me and one for the baby, and snacks for Brian!
Hewitt adds that she loves the experience of getting pregnant even though this third baby will probably be her last.
– I’m pretty sure of that. I do not think I can get another one. Five in the family is a great number.
