January 6, 2022 – Tottenham Hotspur is interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Adama Traoré (25). The English top club sees the lightning-fast winger as an ideal winter reinforcement for the flanks. That may also be good news for Ajax, if Steven Bergwijn is allowed to leave after a transfer from the Spaniard this winter.
The Athletic reports Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in the former FC Barcelona winger. Previously, the Spurs also had concrete interest in Traoré, but then the asking price was much too high. That would now have dropped to more than twenty million euros, which has sparked interest again.
The Telegraphjournalist Valentijn Driessen came with an update on Bergwijn on Thursday. “I heard that Tottenham Hotspur is not prepared to talk about any player. Because they still have a lot of games to play and have a very narrow player group,” Driessen said. “And they also have corona cases and injuries. So they actually want to keep everyone on board.”
