Revealed indirectly to renew the contract
Tottenham Hotspur’s coach Jose Mourinho has a positive outlook on the renewal of Son Heung-min, 28, who has emerged as the top concern of the team and Korean football fans.
Head coach Mourinho said at a press conference held at the Tottenham Hotspur Training Center in London, England on the 15th (hereinafter, Korea time), one day before the away game against Liverpool, with the intention that Son Heung-min wants to remain on the team.

Director Mourinho is read as having spared his words as he is not a direct party to the renewal of the contract, but indirectly expressing his desire for the club to hold onto Son Heung-min, the attack’Option 1′.
Local reports came out last October that Son Heung-min and Tottenham had entered into negotiations for renewal of the contract, but no specific news has been heard since.
