According to The Sun, Pierluigi Gollini violated UEFA regulations in the 2-2 draw between Tottenham and Rennes on Thursday 16 September.
What is the history?
Well, recently there was a problem with the £ 25,000-a-week goalkeeper gloves in the UEFA Conference League clash.

Reusch’s branding on his gloves was deemed too large for UEFA logo regulations, meaning Tottenham has received a warning.
If this happens again, Spurs are likely to be fined by UEFA.
How weird.
It seems that UEFA cannot issue adequate punishments for those involved in racist chants, but it can detect a mark on Gollini’s index finger with ease.
Yet at least North Londoners have only escaped with a warning for this petty crime.
What should Tottenham do with Pierluigi Gollini?

In our opinion, Gollini doesn’t have enough playing time for the Spurs to make a decision on him once the season is over.
The Italian joined on a one-season loan from Atalanta in July, and Fabio Paratici has negotiated a call option once the loan expires.
However, will the Spurs see enough of Gollini before then to make a decision?

The 26-year-old has only made four appearances so far this season, all of them in cup competitions, as Hugo Lloris is No. 1.
Unless Tottenham goes far in every cup competition, we fear a hasty decision will have to be made on whether or not to keep Gollini in North London.
It will also be a potentially pivotal decision, as Lloris is out of contract in June, the month Gollini’s loan period ends.
