Tottenham (seventh) surprised this Saturday by beating leader Manchester City 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium, thanks to a double by Harry Kane, on matchday 26 of the Premier League.
Despite the dominance of the ‘Citizens’, the ‘Spurs’ scored quickly with a goal from Dejan Kulusevski (4). But the Turkish Ilkay Gundogan equalized (33) for City.
After the restart, Kane’s feast began. In a defensive error by Manchester City, the English attacker finished off in a pleasant way inside the area to put his team ahead again (59).
The onslaught of Pep Guardiola’s men had its reward, the referee sentenced a penalty that was converted by Riyad Mahrez (90+2) and the tie seemed final.

However, Kane appeared again and drilled the goal with a decisive header (90 + 5).
The victory leaves Tottenham with 39 points, four less than United that closes the Champions zone. City, meanwhile, remains the leader with 63 points, but sees how Liverpool (57) and Chelsea (50) are getting closer.
