Tottenham welcome Chelsea to London derby – Marseille News

Welcome to the second part of our Premier League predictions for Matchday 5, where Brighton & Hove Albion host Leicester City, West Ham United host Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur host Chelsea. It will be one of the Premier League’s best weekends of action so far this season, which even includes a London derby.

You can check out the first part of this week’s forecast here.

Premier League predictions: matchday five

Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Leicester City

After a disappointing 2-2 draw against Napoli in the Europa League, where they led 2-0 until the 69th minute, Leicester City are heading to Brighton & Hove Albion in search of the three points. The hosts, however, will provide a tough test, having remained determined before scoring late to beat Brentford last time around.

Expect an even deal, with Leicester’s defensive issues becoming clearer as the games go. Their scoring prowess will provide a boost, but, in the end, the Foxes will be held to a draw, thanks to their defensive issues.

Travel from Manchester United to West Ham

After losing to Young Boys in the Champions League, Manchester United must make a statement against the shapeless West Ham. If they don’t, many will question their credentials. And, if it looks like last season – when United were forced to come back from behind to win at London Stadium – then they will face a tough test.

There could be a shock to the cards here; West Ham isn’t child’s play these days; quite the opposite, in fact, and pose a greater threat than any other team United have faced this season. Goals will certainly be the order of the day, and maybe even a shock victory.

West Ham United 2-2 Manchester United

Tottenham welcome Chelsea to London derby

Matches between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are always filled with drama and Sunday’s battle will be no different. The Blues come into the game as big favorites and, this is Thomas Tuchel’s tactical approach, expect them to live up to expectations with Romelu Lukaku playing a big role again.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur’s confident start has turned sour in recent weeks, with Nuno Espírito Santo suffering a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace, before a 2-2 draw against Rennes in the middle of the week. The recent misery will likely only continue against Chelsea.
