According to a report by Gazzetta Dello Sport, Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to sign Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
Tottenham is claimed to have decided to join the battle for Locatelli with Fabio Paratici, unsurprisingly, fueling interest.
Paratici has great knowledge of the Italian market and could now challenge his former club, Juventus, in the race for the Locatelli signature.

Who is Manuel Locatelli?
The 23-year-old Locatelli was initially in the Atalanta ranks before moving to AC Milan at just 11 years old, eventually becoming a first-team player at the San Siro.
The midfielder was a bit lost in Milan, but has completely rebuilt himself in three years at Sassuolo, becoming one of the most complete midfielders in Europe.
Locatelli does his best job dictating play in front of defense, but still recorded four goals and three assists for Sassuolo last season.

Who could rival Tottenham for Locatelli?
The main club linked to Locatelli in recent days has been Tottenham’s rival Arsenal, and Gazzetta reported that Edu was about to make a £ 34 million offer.
Tottenham are now looking to dive in and take it to the other side of North London, but there is some great competition.
This new report claims that Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested in Locatelli, who played for Italy in the Euro 2020 win over Turkey on Friday.
