“Unreasonable that it doesn’t go in”

Tottenham celebrate Christmas as fourth in the table.

But the 2–1 victory was far from over.

Everton were millimeters from an equalizer in the last minute of the game.

Tottenham and Dejan Kulusevski got off to a flying start. The Swede was highly involved when the London team took the lead 2–0 after 18 minutes.

First he was responsible for a clever skip that opened up Richarlison’s 1-0 goal and then he was involved in the preparatory work for 2-0.

But Everton were anything but harmless, had several high-quality chances and finally conceded a reduction in the 81st minute.

Millimeters away

And in the last minute of the match, they were close to an equaliser, to say the least.

Arnaut Danjuma pounced on a cross and sent the ball over the bar and onto goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario’s knee. The replays showed that the ball was just millimeters from crossing the goal line.

– It is completely unreasonable that it does not go in, says Viaplay’s expert Jonas Olsson in the broadcast.

The minute the match was over and Tottenham won 2–1.

– In the second half, you can clearly see that 2-0 is not enough in the Premier League. Everton pushed on and did well. The lads did a fantastic job and I’m happy we got three points. We deserved it, says Tottenham team captain Heung-Min Son to PLP according to the BBC.

Past City

The victory was Tottenham’s third straight victory in the league and thus they get to celebrate Christmas as fourth in the table.

The three points means that the London team takes the step past Manchester City, who have a game less played.
