Tottenham strictly follows 75-time international Joe Hart as a replacement for Form | NOW

Tottenham Hotspur has strengthened itself on Tuesday with Joe Hart. The 75-time international of England is the replacement for reserve goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

The 33-year-old Hart played for the past two seasons at Burnley, where his contract expired. The Englishman still had a basic place at the Premier League club in his first months, but lost it in the second half of the season. Hart also had to do it at Burnley last season with games in the FA Cup and the League Cup.

Hart had his heyday at Manchester City, where he was under contract from 2006 to 2018. The goalkeeper has 348 official games to his name for the ‘Citizens’, with which he won two league titles, the FA Cup and twice the League Cup.

In his last years at City, Hart was no longer assured of a starting spot and was successively rented out to Torino and West Ham United, after which the experienced goalkeeper signed with Burnley in the summer of 2018. As an international, Hart made playing minutes at the 2014 World Cup and the 2012 and 2016 European Championships.

At Tottenham, Hart is allegedly the replacement for Vorm, whose expiring contract was not renewed. He normally becomes second goalkeeper at the ‘Spurs’, just like the Dutchman, behind first choice Hugo Lloris.

Hart is Tottenham’s second acquisition for next season. The Londoners have already strengthened themselves with the Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, who comes from Southampton.
