LONDON (AP) — Tottenham bolstered its midfield options ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League on Friday by signing Malian international Yves Bissouma from English Premier League side Brighton.
Tottenham announced the transfer without disclosing a fee. British media reported that Bissouma was costing 25 million pounds ($30.5 million).
Bissouma has played for Brighton since 2018 after joining from Lille, appearing in 123 games in all tournaments.
His arrival offers competition in midfield to Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur and Oliver Skipp.
