Antonio Conte evaluate Tottenham Hotspur need time to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City. Conte refuses to talk about title race Premier League.
Conte was able to bring Tottenham to a top four finish in the Premier League last season. The score is fairly slick considering that the Italian manager took over the Tottenham manager’s seat when the season was running. He replaced the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo.
Welcoming this season, Conte fixes Tottenham by bringing in a number of new names. The Lilywhites were active in the transfer market by signing Richarlison from Everton (52 million pounds), Yves Bissouma from Brighton & Hove Albion (26 million pounds), Djed Spence from Nottingham Forrest (13 million pounds), Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan (free transfer), Fraser Forster of Southampton (free transfer)and Clement Lenglet from Barcelona (on loan).

The presence of this new player and Conte’s cold hands are expected to make Tottenham able to make a surprise in the Premier League title race this season. Conte admits that his team is moving on the right path to get a better result than last season.
However, the former Juventus coach, thinks it is still difficult for Tottenham to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City in the title race. These two teams have proven to be very consistent over the years under the same manager.
“I think we are going in the right direction but you know very well that you have to have a little patience. We know that in England it is difficult to compete for the title but we want to try to be competitive, try to be better than last season and this is our target. ,” Conte said quoted from Football 365.
If you ask me about City or Liverpool, my answer is that we are talking about the two best clubs in the world who worked with the same coach for seven years. Now they are in my opinion in a very difficult position for the others to close the gap but we have to do this.
“Also because (to chase) City and Liverpool you have to spend £100m on six players, they go and spend it on one or two players for £100m and this is the difference.”
