In an interview with Sky Sports broadcast on Friday, Pogba attacked Mourinho’s men’s management methods, accusing him of “going against the players” and making them feel “they no longer exist.”
Mourinho made Pogba the world’s most expensive player after his 2016 appointment as Manchester United manager.
Pogba was instrumental as United managed a League Cup and Europa League double in 2017, but the pair had an uneasy relationship before Mourinho was fired in December 2018 and succeeded by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Mourinho’s relationship with some of his players had deteriorated after that first campaign and there were reports of a training camp dispute with Pogba after the French midfielder was stripped of United vice-captaincy in September 2018.
“What I have now with Ole is different because I would not go against the players,” Pogba said in an interview with Sky Sports.

“It’s not like you put them aside and they don’t exist anymore. I think that’s the difference between Mourinho and Ole.
“I once had a great relationship with Mourinho. Everyone sees that and the next day you don’t know what happened.
“That is the strange thing that I had with Mourinho. And I can’t explain why even I don’t know.
Pogba’s comments came after United put pressure on Mourinho with a 3-1 win at Tottenham last Sunday.
Solskjaer and Mourinho met in a heated exchange of words after the United manager was unhappy when Son Heung-min fell in preparation for Edinson Cavani’s controversial first game canceled.
Mourinho said he was “very disappointed” by Solskjaer’s claims that he would not feed his son if he had behaved like Son, but Pogba accused the Portuguese of using diversionary tactics to divert attention from Tottenham’s performance.

Pogba said: “I’m sure Mourinho said something that got people talking. That’s what he does.
“We got the result we wanted. Ole knows it and we enjoy that moment.
“We know Mourinho and what he likes. We don’t need this.
“We just focus on ourselves, we won the game, he lost the game and he doesn’t want to talk about the game.
“He wants to talk about someone’s father, that’s what he does. Everybody knows. It is very Mourinho ”.
When asked about the United midfielder’s stinging rebuke of his methods while in charge at Old Trafford, Mourinho told Sky Sports after Spurs’ 2-2 draw at Everton on Friday night: He says, he couldn’t care less.
“I’m not interested. Absolutely.”
