Tottenham, Harry Kane | Sky Sports: Kane has not attended Tottenham training

Manchester City-linked Harry Kane has not shown up for training with Tottenham on Monday morning.

Sky Sports writes that it was planned that Harry Kane would return to training with Tottenham on Monday morning after a short holiday after the European Championships. However, he should not have done that.

The Spurs striker has been rumored to be away from the club all summer, and especially towards a transfer to Manchester City.

Transition guru Fabrizio Romano also reports that Kane has not shown up for training, and that it should be a choice the 28-year-old himself has made, and that it is not linked to a covid test.

Kane has the good fortune to state that he wants to leave Tottenham, but went to great lengths to suggest so in an interview with Sky Sports and Gary Neville before this summer’s European Championship play-offs.

A number of English media have also reported throughout the summer that Kane wants to leave Spurs and that he is very interested in making a transfer to Manchester City.

However, Tottenham will have no desire to sell Kane, who still has three years left on his contract with the London club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Kane will assume that he has had a “gentlemen’s agreement” in the last year to leave Spurs this summer.

Nuno Espirito Santo was also fully aware that Kane is Tottenham’s player during his first press conference as the new Tottenham coach.

– City bid of 100 million pounds

Several have been unsure whether Harry Kane will push through a transfer away from Tottenham due to his good relationship with the club.

Kane has been at Tottenham since he was 11 years old and has a strong relationship with the club. Therefore, it has also been very uncertain whether Kane will try to force through a transfer to Manchester City, but if the latest information about Kane’s absence is correct, it may seem that this is exactly what he is trying to do.

At the end of June, it was announced by Sky Sports, among others, that Manchester City had placed a bid of 100 million pounds for Kane, but that this bid was immediately rejected by Tottenham.

Kane got his real breakthrough in the Spurs jersey in the 2014/15 season when he scored 21 goals in the Premier League.

Since then, Kane has continued to score goals for Tottenham, and is now booked with 221 goals in 336 games for the club.
