Harry Kane ‘wants to join Manchester United or City this summer’, despite Tottenham refusing to sell to their Premier League rivals … as PSG enters the fray to sign him as a replacement for Kylian Mbappé if he resigns from Real Madrid
- Harry Kane will reportedly ask to leave Tottenham if they fail to finish in the top four
- The Independent says Kane would rather join one of Manchester’s clubs
- But PSG will reportedly enter the race if Kylian Mbappé is sold this summer.
- Daniel Levy will reportedly demand £ 150 million to even consider selling the player.
Harry Kane would rather stay in the Premier League and join one of Manchester City or Manchester United if he leaves Tottenham this summer, but PSG have also become a serious contender for the striker, according to reports.
Kane’s future is shrouded in uncertainty after reports surfaced that he will seek to leave the Spurs if they fail to qualify for next year’s Champions League.
The Independent now claims that the England captain wants to stay in the country, but adds that French champions PSG will also join the race for the 27-year-old forward if Kylian Mbappé joins Real Madrid.

The Independent assures that Kane would prefer to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (left) or Pep Guardiola (second from right) in their clubs
–
The report claims that Pep Guardiola’s men would prefer a forward under the age of 24, hence their alleged search for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, while the extent of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s and United’s interest will depend on sales of players.
Thus, the same outlet adds, Ligue 1 champions PSG remain in the driver’s seat, with Kane maintaining an excellent relationship with Mauricio Pochettino despite his departure from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2019.
It is also understood that PSG is one of the few clubs that could afford the figure in the region of £ 150 million that Spurs president Daniel Levy would reportedly demand even to consider selling the player.
The report also adds that Levy is unwilling to sell his star player, but is particularly reluctant to let Kane go for a Premier League rival.
Therefore, the French champion could have an advantage, especially if Mbappé, 22, does not agree to extend his current contract that expires next year at the Parc des Princes this summer.
The report adds that Paris Saint-Germain will enter the race if Kylian Mbappé is sold this summer.
