He Tottenham announced on Tuesday the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as coach for four seasonsputting an end to the long search process to occupy the bench.
Ethe Greek-Australian57 years old, led Celtic to the domestic treble in Scotland this season (Cup, championship, League Cup) and replaces Antonio Conte at the Premier League club.

The Italian left the club by “mutual agreement” at the end of Marchwith Cristian Stellini first and Ryan Mason later temporarily assuming the position.
Postecoglou will officially join Spurs on July 1who finished eighth in the Premier League.
“Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play,” Tottenham president Daniel Levy was quoted as saying in a statement from the London club.
“Has a strong track record of player development and understanding of the importance of the academy linkall of which is important for our club,” he added. “We can’t wait to have Ange with us as we prepare for next season.”
In their search for a coach, Tottenham tried to sign Dutch Feyenoord manager Arne Slot and former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmannunsuccessful attempts that led the London club to set its sights on Postecoglou.
The latter has become popular with Celtic fans not only because of the titles they have won, five in just two seasons, but also because of their offensive football style.

“It was an honor to be asked to be Celtic’s manager and during these two years I have given everything I had to bring success to our fans,” Postecoglou said in a statement posted on the Celtic website on Tuesday.
But in London he will face a greater challenge, that of returning Spurs to the ‘Top 4’ in which they were in March, before the departure of Conte, which finally left them without any European competition for the first time since 2009.
