It was in the FA Cup match against Morecambe that midfielder Tanguy Ndobleme excited Tottenham supporters when he was taken off the field.
The Frenchman was to switch with Oliver Skipp and slowly left the field. Then he went straight to the locker room, instead of sitting on the bench with the other players.
Towards the end of the match, he reappeared on the bench, however according to Football.London the behavior must have been very badly received by the London club’s fans.
Conte has taken action
It also does not seem that manager Antonio Conte is particularly impressed with the midfielder. Football.London writes that the profile now has to train alone and that he has not been involved in first team training with the others.
He has come out on the training field with his teammates, but not participated in the tactical or game sequences. Instead, he has run his own scheme.
A member of Tottenham’s medical team has worked with him, but there should be no question that he will have to train alone due to an injury.
Football.London claims that Conte, together with the management of Tottenham, should have made a decision that the player is not allowed to participate in the regular training.
He was also not in the squad for the league cup semi-final against Chelsea this week, a match where Spurs lost 0-1 to the Blues and broke out with 0-3 in total over two games.
– It was a technical decision, but before I made that decision I consulted with the club. I do not make decisions without talking to the club, says Conte.

Being disconnected
Nodombele has been linked with a move to Tottenham recently and Juventus are among the clubs to be named as the next stop for the midfielder.
However, Conte does not want to talk about a possible transition.
– Right now Ndombele is a Tottenham player. Because of this, you (the journalists) must also consider him a Tottenham player, says Conte.

The London club forked out around 60 million pounds to secure the Frenchman and there were high hopes for him, after he had impressed for Lyon.
However, his stay at Tottenham has not turned out as expected for the midfielder, who has never fully established himself as a first choice at the club.

Spurs have also struggled to sell Ndombele, since he himself has ambitions to play for a top club and thus limits the opportunities for a sale.
The Frenchman came to Tottenham in 2019 and has so far played 91 games for the club. He has contributed a total of ten goals and nine assists during this period.
