Burnley is determined to keep Nick Pope and will not sell the Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United goalkeeper for a penny less than £ 50 million, LancsLive reported.
Burnley has said they will not be forced to sell any of their star players.
West Ham found that the hard way when they tried to lure James Tarkowski from Turf Moor last summer.

The Daily Mail reports that Pope is also a target for West Ham’s London neighbors, and the Spurs have made the England international their first-choice replacement for the decadent Hugo Lloris.
But, with Dyche insisting that Burnley is not under pressure to sell after much-needed investment from the new US owners, LancsLive claims that the bidding for Pope will start at £ 50 million.

So this already seems a bit pointless.
If West Ham weren’t willing to pay the rate Burnley wanted for Tarkowski, what are the chances that Pope would trade one claret and blue club for another when the summer window opens?
Tottenham, meanwhile, only paid more than £ 50 million once, signing Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon in 2019.
