Tottenham and F1 announce major partnership

Tottenham Hotspur have entered into a “strategic partnership” with Formula 1 in a deal that will last for the next 15 years.

The deal will reportedly bring a “new motorsport experience” to London, as a go-kart track will be built under the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. This is the first stadium karting facility in the world, which will also be the longest indoor electric go-kart track in the capital.

This follows the F1 Arcade, which opened last year and gave fans the chance to experience an F1-themed night. which includes simulators, racing-themed food and drink, and music.

Tottenham and F1 announce agreement

Spurs say they want this to change the face of motorsport in the region and will aim to create learning and career opportunities for those with future aspirations.

They said in a statement: “Tottenham Hotspur are delighted to announce a 15-year strategic partnership with F1 that will bring a new motorsport experience to London.. The world’s first stadium karting facility and London’s longest indoor electric go-kart track will open in Autumn 2023.”

Daniel Levy continued: “As we continue to grow our sport around the world, partnering with world-renowned brands like Tottenham Hotspur allows us to bring Formula 1 and motorsport to new and diverse audiences.

The karting experience will be a destination and a place that families, friends and aspiring drivers from all over the world will want to visit and enjoy.attracting new audiences and offering an accessible entry point into the world of motorsport.

“Since we built this stadium, our ambition has always been to see how far we can push the boundaries to deliver world-class experiences that draw people from all over the world throughout the year.”
