Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal Full of praise for Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho expressed his admiration for Arsenal counterpart Mikel Arteta, following Spurs’ 2-0 win in the north London derby on Sunday afternoon.
Two first-half goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane secured all three points for Tottenham as they return to the top of the Premier League table.
“Of course we are very happy,” Mourinho said to BBC Sport after the game.
“We controlled the game the way we wanted to control it – defensively solid but having the ball. And Sonny and Harry, their finishing and goals were amazing.
“In the second half they created problems for us because they are a very good team. I don’t care [where they are in the table], they are a very good team. Mikel is a very good coach.”
