L’Hôpital-le-Grand. How far will human stupidity go? The mayor of the town, Christophe Destras, and his municipal team are both shocked and angry.
“For about two weeks, five dog waste bag dispensers have been installed in different locations in the town by municipal employee Laurent Delorme,” explains the chief hospital magistrate. The elected officials had decided to install them in order to improve the cleanliness of the public domain, particularly sidewalks and green spaces. But that was without taking into account the imagination and power of some people to cause harm. Indeed, during the night of July 27 to 28, probably very early Sunday morning, one or more people collected bags containing dog waste from a nearby trash can and threw them against the wall of the function room. How far will human stupidity go?, the councilor protests. What pleasure do the perpetrators of such acts get when they vandalize, destroy or steal the work of others? Because if we have experienced damage this summer (summer decorations, windows of the function room, etc.) and theft of decorations, we have not yet experienced such events. »
