“Total War: Pharaoh – A Breathtaking Journey Through Ancient Egypt with Complex Battles and Intrigues”

If you want further proof that you can trust the insider nicknamed billbil-kun, then today’s one is called Total War: Pharaoh. He already mentioned the game on his Twitter over the weekend, and for many players it was only a matter of time before Sega or the developers from Creative Assembly came up with an official announcement. We didn’t have to wait for long, because the game was presented on Tuesday and the press release, or game profiles on Steam whether Epic Games Storu brings the first details. What is important is that we will actually go to Egypt, already in October of this year and with all the glory, which you could wish for from the series. The game will also be available with Czech subtitles, which is just one more piece of good news.

As the developers point out, we will dive into ancient Egypt at the height of its power. Dramatic events, difficult battles, intrigues and complex administration of the empire await us, but on the other hand, these are attributes that fans of the series are undoubtedly looking for. The task will be to keep the entire empire alive, which may not be – even taking into account what was really happening in Egypt – anything easy. “The reign of the great pharaoh Merneptah is coming to an end, and the Egyptian people are calling for a new leader,” the developers from Creative Assembly say, promising a literally breathtaking reconstruction of the collapse of the Bronze Age and a faithful rendering of historical realities.

In addition to the battles and the mentioned administration of the empire, you will also have to pay attention to the weather and the spread of fire, which can affect almost anything. battle. The developers indicate a system through which it will be possible to burn the battlefield and perhaps trap the enemy army. How elaborate this element will be is difficult to estimate, but given that the developers have given it a prominent space in the title’s descriptions, we’re guessing that it will play an important role. Choosing a faction and one of the leaders will also be important, always entering the game with different options and characteristics. “Whether you charm the court as an unrivaled diplomat, plunge into battle as a steadfast commander, or sow chaos as a fearless warlord, become a leader that history will remember,” the developers then underline, and it must be admitted that for me, as an admirer of ancient Egypt, that sounds very tempting.

Among the news revealed, the game should also come with a better campaign setting so that no two games are the same. It sounds nice, but as a result, players should simply receive a better entry point editor, faction placement and other conditions, along with their own campaign objectives and other matters affecting gameplay itself. Of course, setting disadvantageous conditions for an even greater challenge, just the fact that there should be a campaign to set differently, but it’s enough to make us look forward to an even greater incentive to play again.

In terms of release, the game is headed to PC only, via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will be available on an as yet unspecified October date and on the game’s official website the title can now be pre-ordered. There will be a standard edition for 60 euros, as well as a Deluxe edition that will include one DLC with a new faction and a soundtrack for 73 euros. And finally, an edition named Dynasty with three additions of factions, an expansion of the campaign and a soundtrack for less than 92 euros. There is also the first trailer and a set of images out, but not from actual gameplay, we’ll probably have to wait a little longer for that.
