Total of 1,157 Covid-19 Positive Cases in South Tangerang City, 99 Percent Hospital Bed Availability

WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA – Positive confirmed case Covid-19 from South Tangerang City (Tangsel) is currently still massive.

The head of the South Tangerang City Health Office (Kadinkes), Allin Hendalin Mahdaniar explained, the increase in cases also affected the availability of ICU beds and isolation or bed occupancy rate (BOR) specifically for handling Covid-19.

The latest data, July 29, 2021, the capacity of ICU BOR in all hospitals in South Tangerang City has been recorded to have been used as much as 99 percent.

“Meanwhile, the availability of special BOR for the isolation of infected patients” Covid-19 as much as 71 percent,” he said via his short message, South Tangerang City, last Wednesday (21/7/2021).

Allin explained that currently there is only 1 bed left in the ICU out of 76 available capacities specifically for handling infections Covid-19.

According to him, the data was obtained from 22 infection referral hospitals Covid-19 in the working area.

“There must have been a waiting list that was immediately filled in for the ICU, while for isolation beds there were 699 available and 494 of those that had been used, only 205 beds remained,” he concluded.
