JAKARTA – Rob flood hit the Sunda Kelapa Harbor area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Wednesday (26/5/2021) night. This incident can be seen from the Instagram account video upload @merekamjakarta.
The account says that the flood occurred at around 21.00 WIB. It is not known exactly what the water level is, but it is swelling quite swiftly from the sea to the land area.

He also explained that this tidal flood was caused by a red Total Lunar Eclipse (GBT) which did occur on Wednesday night.
“Tidal flooding occurred in the Sunda Kelapa Port area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta on Wednesday (26/5/2021) at around 21.00 WIB. Tidal flooding occurred due to the influence of a total lunar eclipse,” wrote the account quoted on Thursday (27/5/2021) .
Previously reported, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the phenomenon of the Total Lunar Eclipse in red (Super Blood Moon) will begin to appear in the Jakarta area starting Wednesday at 18.09 WIB.
“The estimate is around 18.09 WIB,” said the Coordinator for Potential Geophysics and Time Signs of the BMKG, Hendra Suarta, to MNC Portal Indonesia, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in the afternoon at the Ancol Taman Impian jetty.
