Islamic guidance during an eclipse

Hadith Abu Walid said, Hadith zaydh said, Hadith Ziyad bin laqh said, ANIMAQP almghyrh become Thiqah nayaricompas anksft Shams accused beat Ibrahim fqal public anksft Alone without partner Official fqal Prophet peace be upon him Shams valqmraytan de verses God bring ynksfan Alone without partner twice villa lhyath faza raytmvahma fadva God وَصَلّوا حَتَّى يَنْجَلِيَ

Has narrated to us, Abu Al Walid said, has narrated to us, Zaidah said, has narrated to us, Ziyad bin ‘Ilaqah, he said: “I heard Al-Mughirah bin Syu’bah say,” There was a solar eclipse when he died Ibrahim | Then the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said, “Indeed, the sun and the moon are two signs of the signs of God’s greatness, and he will not experience an eclipse due to the death or life of a person. If you see the eclipse of both, then pray to God and establish prayer until (the sun) reappeared. ” (HR Al-Bukhari)

Prophet Muhammad SAW taught us the glorious guidance of the Shari’ah when there is a solar eclipse or lunar eclipse, among others, namely:
1. Presenting fear of Allah during the eclipse of the sun and moon, because this event reminds us of the signs of the doomsday event, or because we are afraid that Allah’s punishment will be revealed due to the sins committed.
2. Remembering what the Prophet Muhammad SAW witnessed in the Kusuf Prayer. It is narrated that in the kusuf prayer, Rasulullah SAW was shown by Allah heaven and hell, he even wanted to take a branch from heaven to be shown to them. He was also shown various forms of punishment inflicted on the members of hell. Therefore, in one of his sermons after the eclipse prayer, he said, “O people of Muhammad, by Allah, if you knew what I know, you would surely laugh a little and cry a lot.” (HR Muttafaq alaih).
3. Calling with the call “Asshalaatu Jaami’ah”. The meaning is a call to pray in congregation. She narrated that when the eclipse occurred, the Prophet SAW ordered to call “Ashshalaatu Jaami’ah” (HR Abu
Daud son of al-Nasa’i). There is no call to prayer and iqamah in the performance of the eclipse prayer. Because the call to prayer and iqamah only apply to the five obligatory prayers.
4. It is Sunnah to harden the reading of the letter, whether the prayer is performed during the day or at night. This was done by the Prophet SAW in the eclipse prayer (HR Muttafaq alaih).

How to pray for an eclipse
1. Intention in the heart;
2. Takbiratul ihram which is takbir as a regular prayer;
3. Read the iftitah prayer, then read the letter of Al Fatihah followed by reading another letter while being chased (raised his voice, not softly);
4. Then bowing ‘;
5. Then rise from bowing ‘(i’tidal);
6. After this i’tidal do not immediately prostrate, but continued by reading the Al-Fatihah and other letters. This second stand is shorter than the first;
7. Then the bow ‘re (the second’ bow) which is shorter in length than the previous bow;
8. Then get up from bowing ‘(i’tidal);
9. Then prostrate as long as ruku ‘, then sit between two prostrations, then prostrate again;
10. Then get up from prostration and do the second rak’ah like the first rak’ah, it’s just that the readings and movements are shorter than before;
11.Salam.

After that, the imam delivered a sermon to the congregation which contained encouragement to recite dhikr, pray (especially for the covid-19 epidemic to end), ask for forgiveness, and give alms.
