BODY Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) will observe natural phenomena total lunar eclipse (GBT) or Super-Blood Moon, which starts this afternoon, Wednesday, May 26, 2021. The public can also watch it via live streaming on the https://www.bmkg.go.id/gbt page.
Observation total lunar eclipse by the BMKG, this was carried out in locations all over Indonesia using a telescope combined with detectors and information technology.

For the record, the total lunar eclipse this time can be witnessed if the weather conditions are cloudy. Then it is safe to be witnessed by the public with the naked eye, without having to use special eclipse glasses.
At its peak, in most parts of Indonesia the position of the moon is close to the horizon in the eastern part, allowing observers to capture the eclipse against the foreground of historical or iconic buildings.
“For people who are on the coast or on the seafront, they need to be aware of the occurrence of sea tides that are higher than normal tides,” explained BMKG.
