Last night, around 9 p.m., a raging fire broke out in a home located at 1188 Pasaje Rossato Street (railway sector), in the city of San Antonio Oeste, causing total losses.
Volunteer Firefighters quickly responded to the scene with three units and a tanker truck, deploying several lines of hoses to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby homes. Fortunately, they managed to control the fire and avoid a greater tragedy. The affected home, built with wooden walls and a tin roof, facilitated the rapid spread of the fire, which in a few minutes consumed the entire property. The flames also reached an orange Chevrolet Silverado truck that was at the scene. Despite the magnitude of the fire, no victims were reported, since the only occupant of the house, an adult man, was unharmed. To date, the causes of the accident are unknown. Authorities are working on the investigation to determine how the fire started. Personnel from the 10th Police Station collaborated at the scene.
