Total Closure of 26th of July Corridor for Nile Valley Monorail Project Preparations: Traffic Diversions and Necessary Measures by Giza Traffic

The General Directorate of Giza Traffic appointed the necessary traffic services to face any expected traffic densities and traffic flow.. This coincided with the implementation of the construction works of the monorail project to carry out the preparatory work to receive the works site of the Nile Valley monorail station located on the 26th of July Corridor.. which necessitates the total closure of Corridor 26 July in both directions in front of traffic for one day, starting from 12 am on Friday, corresponding to 2/6/2023 until 12 pm on the same day.

The direction coming from Lebanon Square and the 6th of October areas towards the Zamalek Club and the 15th of May Bridge: the movement of vehicles coming from this direction and wishing to walk towards the 15th of May Bridge and the Mohandessin areas enters the road supporting the 26th of July Corridor, which has been paved and upgraded, and continues with the supporting road until the exit hole To return again to the route of the 26th of July Corridor, all the way to the 15th of May Bridge and the Mohandessin areas.

The direction coming from Zamalek Club and the 15th of May Bridge towards Lebanon Square and the 6th of October areas: the movement of vehicles coming from this direction and wishing to walk towards Lebanon Square and 6th of October City enters the road supporting the 26th of July axis, and continues walking with the supporting road until the exit hole to return again to the path The 26th of July Corridor leading to Lebanon Square and 6th of October City.

For its part, the General Directorate of Giza Traffic assigns the necessary traffic services and coordinates with the implementing companies to put in place technical assistance and all equipment indicating the presence of works in the region to ensure the security and safety of citizens.
