Ahmed Marei Al-Athari, a native of Kharga Oasis and the executor of the idea of the summer resort and chalets in the Toshka spillway, south of the center of Paris, confirms to Masrawy that the idea was personally owned by Major General Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, when he assigned me to establish a service area in the floodplain area, south of the center of Paris, that includes shops, cafeterias, areas for fault repair services and workshops. Technical facilities, restaurants, toilets and services for the accommodation of businessmen and investors during their visit to the planned and ongoing farms in the region.
Ahmed added that when the governor assigned him to set up the project to serve the investors, he allocated 20 acres to him in addition to setting up a farm and a service area during it. Ahmed says: “At the beginning of the mandate of the governorate to establish a service area for investors, I established 4 chalets, 4 shops and 4 toilets, but as soon as I discovered the possibility of establishing a summer resort and its success in the region, I started to establish and construct 10 other chalets and named the beach, Shatti El Hana, after my eldest daughter, as God blessed me With 4 older girls, her name is here, and she is good for me and my family. Indeed, steps have begun to implement the governor’s idea to establish a real summer resort in the region.
Ahmed pointed out that the area in which the chalets and beaches are located is a sandy area suitable for the beach and the summer resort, and it is more like the closed beaches in Marsa Matruh, and for a distance of half a kilometer, or about 500 meters, the depth of the water reaches the area of distress for children, which prompted me to start defining swimming areas on the beach. And water games areas, as the depth starts to increase at a distance of 1 km, which is a safe area, in addition to starting to provide rescuers for drowning, a first and medical aid area, and providing medicines, vaccines and vaccines against scorpion and snake bites, in anticipation of any emergency.
Ahmed pointed out that a service and recreational beach is being established in the region, and the implementation of the first trips will begin 45 days from now, after providing the necessary equipment, safety, rescue and first aid means in the region, with the provision of additional quantities of water games and water boats, and camps will also be established in the part in the middle of the water for tourists during Their presence in the region, and the presence of companies and fishermen in the region will be exploited, so that a small fish ring will be established for the pioneers of the region during the next few years.
It is worth noting that the Paris Lake area, south of the Paris center in the New Valley, is a new axis for agricultural development and population attraction in the Toshka Paris spillway area, which contains a fresh water lake on an area of 450 square kilometers, 30 kilometers long, 15 kilometers wide, and contains 27 billion cubic meters of water. Develop a plan to exploit them in agriculture and fisheries production.
The last period witnessed the flow of huge quantities into the Toshka spillway until it was filled to the brim, and the water of the spillway reached the village of Paris in the New Valley, at a distance of up to 200 kilometers, which contributes to transforming the New Valley desert into green farms that increase our production of primary crops, on top of which is wheat.

The future of fisheries development and agricultural investment will pour into Lake Paris IV, within the agenda of national projects to support the production process and the exploitation of state resources to achieve Egypt’s future vision 2030.

The governor added that the implementation of these development projects comes within the state’s plan to take advantage of the natural resources in the province in order to achieve high economic returns and provide the largest number of job and investment opportunities, especially for the people of the Paris center in particular, and for all young graduates and investors from all over the provinces.
Al-Zamlot confirmed that it is planned to expand fish production projects and implement factories for the production of fillets and packing fish at the lake site.
Al-Zamlot directed to present a comprehensive study on the soil in the region and the most suitable agricultural crops that can be cultivated, to study the depth of the water in the lakes and the most appropriate means of connecting it to the neighboring lands, and to paving and paving the road linking the site of the lakes in order to exploit the region developmentally and open new horizons for investment in it and to preserve the water of the lakes instead of exposing it to evaporation without Useless.
Major General Muhammad Salman Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, issued Decision No. 187 regarding the formation of a board of directors for the Toshka spillway, which included several decisions, including that a board of directors for the fourth depression of the Toshka spillway (Paris Lake) be formed from each of the assistant general secretary of the governorate as president and head of the local unit of the center and city of Paris as a member and agent The Ministry of Irrigation as a member and the Director General of the Directorate of Agriculture as a member.
