Torpedo officially applied to the Russian Premier League (RPL) with a request to consider postponing the match of the 19th round of the RPL against Ural from Luzhniki to the reserve stadium, Khimki Arena. About it reported in the Telegram channel of the Moscow club.
The reason is the insufficient readiness of the lawn at the Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena. The meeting is scheduled for March 11th.
The RPL later granted this request.
“Our club expresses confidence that the next home game of Torpedo will take place at Luzhniki,” said Yaroslav Savin, president of Torpedo.
Dziuba explained the refusal to move to Torpedo with the “arrogance” of coach Talalaev
It is noted that the club, together with the Luzhniki administration, is making every effort to ensure that the field is ready for the next games.
Formerly RB Sport informedthat the RPL inspection recognized the field in Luzhniki as unsuitable for the match of the 19th round.
The bookmaker’s office “Fonbet” accepts bets on the victory of “Torpedo” in the upcoming match with a coefficient of 3.50, “Ural” – 2.08, on a draw – 3.50.
