TEXAS – Severe weather on Wednesday affected multiple cities in the north of the state.
From tornado warnings to hail and severe storm warnings, these are the ones that the National Weather Service issued during the afternoon and evening hours.

12:29 A. M.: They report multiple flooded streets in Dallas including the following:

11:46 P. M.: Severe storm warning until 12:45 am for Canton, Wills Points, and Edgewood.
11:10 P. M.: Authorities report that thousands of people have been without electricity service:
-Tarrant: 2,382
-Collin: 4,337
-Denton: 416
-Dallas: 187
10:47 P.M.: Severe storm watches are issued for Ennis, Kaufman, and Mabank until 11:45 pm Wednesday.
10:14 P.M.: The National Weather Service in Fort Worth cancels the tornado watch in Denton County. However, they do not rule out the presence of hail and storms towards the Little Elm area and surrounding areas.
10:01 P. M.: Watch for tornadoes until 4 a.m. Thursday in areas including Greenville, Dallas, Fort Worth, Hillsboro, Canton, Hamilton, Waco, Corsicana, and Mexia.
9:49 P. M.: The National Weather Service indicates that a tornado watch has been issued for parts of Texas until 4 am These areas include McKinney, Dallas, Cleburne, Waco, Killeen, and Austin.
9:45 P.M.: There is a rotation in the Highland Village area (south of Denton) increasing the potential for a tornado. You are asked to seek refuge.
9:41 P. M.: Tornado watch for areas including Waxahachie, Ennis, and Read Oak until 10:45 pm Wednesday.
9:38 P. M.: Tornado watch for Lewisville, Flower Mound, and Little Elm until 10:30 pm Wednesday.
9:29 P.M.: Severe Storm Warning for Denton, Lewisville, and Flower Mound until 10:30 pm
8:41 P.M.: Severe Storm Warning for Denton, Keller, and Benbrook until 9:45 p.m.
7:09 P. M.: Tornado watch issued for Cranfills Gap, Texas until 8 p.m.
