Travis Japan Star Nyoeru Kawashima Takes Time Off For Health
Nyoeru Kawashima, the 30-year-old member of the Japanese pop group Travis Japan, announced a temporary hiatus from all entertainment activities due to health concerns. This news, announced by their agency STARTO ENTERTAINMENT on December 2nd, sent a wave of support from fans worldwide.
Kawashima, a well-loved figure within the group, explained his decision in a heartfelt statement, saying "After consulting with the members, the group, my family, and my doctor, I have decided to rest and regain my mental and physical health. Though it saddens me to do so, I believe this is necessary for me to return stronger."
Kaito Miyachika, director of Travis Japan, echoed Kawashima’s sentiments, emphasizing the group’s commitment to their member’s well-being.
"We’ve been working together for a long time, and we want to keep doing our best together. To do that, we want him to rest so that he can stay healthy, have fun, and laugh. Just like Travis Japan has always been," Miyachika stated. He further noted, "We, the members, wanted him to rest, so we took the decision to suspend his activities," highlighting the unwavering support from the group.
Kawashima’s absence from both Travis Japan’s planned appearance on Fuji TV’s "FNS Kayosai" on December 4th and their nationwide tour comes following a previous absence from the group’s YouTube live event on October 28th, also due to health reasons.
The news has stirred concern among fans, but Kawashima and Miyachika’s heartfelt words have reassured everyone that his well-being is the utmost priority. The group, currently performing as six members, continues to operate and will honor their commitments.
As Travis Japan fans worldwide hope for Kawashima’s swift recovery, it is a touching reminder of the dedication and concern within the group and the power of prioritizing mental and physical well-being.
