Pata Yamaha riders Toprak Razgatlioglu answer questions that went viral on social media during the event WSBK Mandalika 2021. Toprak claims to know a typical Indonesian food, ketoprak.
Toprak successfully won the 2021 WSBK world title at Race 1 WSBK Mandalika, Sunday (21/11). The Turkish racer has successfully ended the six-year dominance of Kawasaki rider Jonathan Rea in WSBK.
After celebrating the 2021 WSBK world title, Toprak responded to questions that have gone viral on social media in recent days. Toprak’s Instagram account was also bombarded with questions about the name Toprak being similar to ketoprak.
Toprak admitted that he knew his name was similar to Indonesian food, ketoprak. But the 25-year-old racer has not had a chance to try ketoprak.
Yeah I know, it’s ketoprak. I haven’t tried it yet, maybe tomorrow. I’ll try [makan ketoprak]”, said Toprak in a special press conference for Pata Yamaha’s success in winning three WSBK 2021 world titles.
Pata Yamaha team principal, Paul Denning, said Toprak was a strict racer in maintaining his diet during the season. But Denning is sure Toprak will try ketoprak.
“Day [Toprak] definitely going to give it a try,” said Denning.
“Toprak, as a human being not just an athlete, is able to maintain a humble approach. He respects everyone, he works as a true part of the team and what he has done this season has been very special,” said Denning.
