Topgolf to Invest $28 Million in New Brevard county Venue
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The popular entertainment and sports venue, Topgolf, is set to make a significant investment in Brevard County with a $28 million project, according to recent city records.This move marks the company’s first venture into the area, promising a vibrant addition to the local community.
greg Copeland, a representative for the Texas-based brand, recently addressed county commissioners to seek initial permit approvals. “We are a great complement to the already vibrant sports scene here,” Copeland stated during the November 19 meeting.The project is scheduled to return to the board for further discussion on Thursday.
The proposed venue will be a two-story structure spanning 18 acres, featuring 64 hitting bays, an outdoor patio, a restaurant, a bar, and a video wall. Copeland highlighted that the progress will not only create approximately 150 construction jobs but also hire 200 employees upon opening.
Located off the north end of Bromley drive, east of lake Andrew Drive in Viera, the new Topgolf venue will be conveniently situated near The Avenue Viera shopping center. Once completed, it will become the 11th Topgolf location in Florida, joining the existing nine venues across the state, including one currently under construction in Panama City Beach.
Topgolf is renowned for its innovative “Toptracer technology,” which enhances the hitting bays experience by allowing guests to play various games rather than traditional golf matches. ”Creating moments that matter, it is indeed one of the things we pride ourselves on …we want to make that a staple here in Viera,” Copeland emphasized.
