topcast #22: Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel

The signs of the times have long been evident in the tourism sector as well. A well-founded sustainability concept is simply a must for a well-managed hotel today. Not only for ecological reasons, but also for economic reasons, given the high energy costs. Above all, this has changed in Dresden Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel sublime. The traditional house on the Goldener Reiter was awarded the “Certified Star Award” in 2021 and was thus the first hotel in Dresden to be delighted with this award.

The measures are varied: from the energy-efficient renovation of the building to specially trained e-mobility experts for guests and the in-house honey production up to the planned photovoltaic system on the roof. For the current podcast, we talked about the processes behind the implementation and measures for greater sustainability in the hotel with the hotel director Sebastian Klink, with Ellen Sattler, as director of sales, and with the director of Rocky Zimmer convention sales, which monitors convention activity.
