Thousands of Spaniards will enjoy the long-awaited vacation in July in which they will be able to disconnect from the routine, but also from the mobile phone. The searches of national tourists focus especially on destinations with sun and sand (74%)compared to those who prefer inland destinations (26%), according to data from the hotel and flight search engine Jetcost.
Galicia is culture, history and gastronomy. The temperatures -milder than in other parts of the country- attract thousands of tourists who want to rest a few days with family or friends. In fact, two cities in the Community are among the 45 most sought after for the month of July.
A Coruña stands outwhich occupies the ninth position, ahead of destinations such as Santa Cruz de Tenerife, San Sebastián, Ibiza, Valencia, Huelva, Gijón, Benalmádena and Santander, among others. For his part, Santiago de Compostela occupies the 35th position in the ranking Prepared by Jetcost, a city that awaits the arrival of thousands of people who finish the Camino.

The effect of the elections has been felt in Galicia, but even so forecasts are “good”with data similar to those of previous years, according to the vice president of the Galician Tourist Housing Association (Aviturga), Rafael Serrano, who indicates that reservations are made “well in advance”although there are always those who decide to do it at the last minute.
He points out that there are prices for all budgets, from rates of 400 euros for a week in more rural areas or far from the Galician coast. “You always talk about homes with very high prices, but this is exclusive.” Thus, on the Airbnb web portal we find options for 150 euros in O Grove, while in Sanxenxo from 159 to 370 euros per night (for 4 people).
