These are the documents you need to purchase a motorcycle on credit
In Colombia, credits have become people’s allies when they want to purchase some type of product, in this case, a motorcycle.
So far, there are several viable options to obtain one. However, in this case, we will focus on two; The first financial credit tool is Sufi and the second is ProgreSer. Both entities will ask you for some paperwork:
- In the case of employees, a letter of employment and at least the payment statements for the last two months are needed.
- As for people who work as independents, two commercial references from suppliers are required, the certificate from the Chamber and Single Tax Identification Number (RUT), a photocopy of the ID card enlarged to 150 and a copy of some bank statements.
- In turn, in the case of people who already have a pension, the requirements would be proof of pension payment for the last two months and a photocopy of the ID card expanded to 150.
- If, contrary to the previous situations, you are a merchant, you must present the RUT, a photocopy of your bank statements, the document certified by the chamber of commerce, employment letter, and the last two payroll detachments.
