Musical theater – A wild cat’s step. From March 12 to 22, Théâtre des Bernardines, Marseille 1st.
Two artists confront each other around the Cuban singer, Maria Martinez. One is a teacher in need of inspiration, played by the soprano Natalie Dessay. The other is an artist who thinks she is the reincarnation of the singer, a role played by the bubbling Nancy Nkusi. A relationship of fascination and rejection develops between them. A tailor-made role for Natalie Dessay who has definitely found a new playing field in the theater that suits her.

Their piece for 18 dancers draws its contemporary inspiration from violence against women. A new opportunity to see on stage the dazzlingness and complicity of this couple of fusion dancers, who met at BNM in Marseille. Pietragalla was then its director.
